Mountain golf is fresh air in vast expanses among rippling streams, and at course 5 you will find a musical toilet. A beautiful and varied 18-hole course that has won the praise of many golf journalists over the years, and of course there is a restaurant, shop and rental at the clubhouse.

On the horse’s back you can discover the wilderness with miles of views, cozy trails in old forest and the interaction with the horse. This summer we offer several horseback riding tours at Idre Fjäll – everything from a trial tour, to a summit tour and a full-day tour for those who are used to riding.
Rafting involves using an inflatable (usually) raft or board to make your way down a rapids or other flowing water, negotiating obstacles on the way down. The force of the rapids and the foaming rollers, and possibly swimming, are guaranteed to get you wet. Rafting is an exciting and fun experience for everyone, as long as you’re not afraid of getting wet.
Cycling in the mountains requires determination, experience and good equipment. A mountain bike is a must, and ideally at least the front fork should be cushioned. Always take a spare hose and pump with you, it can get punctured and it’s no fun having to walk far with your bike.
The cycling trails around Idre Fjäll wind through forest terrain and offer breathtaking views. The trails have a marking system similar to that used during the winter season to guide cyclists, with all trails designed to be followed in one direction. Along these trails you will find beautiful places for breaks.
Hiking in the mountains is a fantastic activity for young and old, and gives you the opportunity to experience the magnificent nature up close. Idre is a paradise for those who like mountain hiking. And you can start your hiking adventure right outside the house. Pack your lunch, choose a reasonably easy or difficult hiking trail, put on your hiking boots and head out into our fabulous nature. STÄDJAN
The trail is about 6 km long and the hike is quite steep, passing through both forest and bare rock before reaching the top.
NIPFJÄLLET
Nipfjället around is a fairly tough hike of 18 km where you preferably start at the parking lot at the foot of Nipfjället. Don’t miss the opportunity to drink mountain water at Nipstugan. If you want an easier challenge, you can do your hike at Lillnipen, which then becomes 1.5 km and takes you 1100 meters above sea level where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the städjan and the mountain landscape.
FULUFJÄLLET
In Fulufjället National Park you’ll find Njupeskär, which at 93 meters is Sweden’s highest waterfall. Expect a one to one and a half hour hike to get to Njupeskär. The park is also home to Old Tjikko, which scientists have called “the world’s oldest tree”.
